CODE RED - FIRE 1.) Get yourself and others away from danger -- DO NOT go into an area with smoke or flames. 2.) Make sure the alarms are sounding. 3.) Close doors as you travel to your Mustering Location. 4.) Extinguish the fire, if you know the location & if possible. Never put your life at risk. 5.) Evacuate the building, if smoke becomes thick & oppressive. MUSTERING LOCATIONS: (1) Departments on the south side of the fire wall exit the building & muster under the Outpatient entrace awning. (2) Departments on the north side of the fire wall go to the Nurses Station and await further instructions. HAND-HELD RADIOS: Use the hand-held radios at the Front-Desk and teh Nurses Station for communication. Turn the radio "on" & turn to Channel 16 to use. Press the button on the side to speak. Release the button to listen. Use plain language. |
